Rose Highlights

For all skin tones

It is time to give life to the pale skin tones and give medium skin tones the warmth that it needs. For the darker skin tones you can create the glow that it deserves for any season of the year.

Foundation

After applying your original shade of Mineral Makeup Foundation, accent your best features with Glow and/or Touch of Sun. 

Eyes - For pale skin tones

Gently base the eyes with Mineral Makeup highlighting Glow. Continue with a soft warm pink to open the eyelid and brow. Use a blush of warm softness to give life to your cheekbones. With a light shade of Shimmer Pink of the Mineral Makeup  Eyeshadows or Blush convert it into a finishing powder and apply sparingly around the face using the Luscious  Kabuki Brush to complete the look of liveliness.

Eyes - For the medium skin tones

You may also base your eyes with a hint of Glow. Color the lid and highlight the brow using the Chisel Double Angle Shader with a mauve shade to create a lightly applied warmth.The Angle Shader picks up less product and also gives you a light and soft application.

Blush - For pale skin tones

After you have completed your eyes, continue with the application of your blush. Again use a warm shade of mauve to gently reveal your cheekbones.

After you have completed your eyes, continue with the application of your blush. Again use a warm shade of mauve to gently reveal your cheekbones.

Eye & Blush - For the darker skin tones

Lightly base your eyes with a hint of Touch of Sun using the Luscious Dome. Open your lid and brow with a berry shade to create a glow effect. You may also accent your cheeks with a berry tone to give it a bit more color. Try blending your blush with a bronzer. It will create an effect of a highlighting shade against your skin tone.

Complete the look with a sheer or lightly tinted lip creme or gloss. Try using blends of Lip Satin and blends of Crystal Magic.

Bold Violets

When applying violets to your look, you must keep the eye makeup minimal and let your focus be on the lips.

Foundation

After applying your original shade of Mineral Makeup Foundation, accent your best features with Touch of Sun.

Bronzing Shades

Eyes

Your focus is not on your eyes, yet you need a small amount of attention. Gently base the eyes with a shade closer to your skin tone. Continue with a hint of pink to a violet shade. Lightly color from your lips to slightly above your crease. Use a bit of Mineral Makeup Glow to highlight the brows.

Cheeks

To keep a less extravagant look, use a blush of soft mauve or neutral tone to give your cheeks a touch of color. You can try using a bronzing shade of foundation as your natural blush.

Remember when you are using violets in your makeup application, you must keep the face makeup simple with more focus on your lips. You should use brushes with less density to give a less and softer application.

Lip Satin Blends of

Violets are extremely bold. You are going to choose a shade and tone it down with Mineral Makeup Lip Satin. You can choose from pink violets to acquire the bold effect.

Keep the face simple and focus on the eyes. Using a richly colored shadow with nude or shear lip cream and light blush will highlight your features for the spring season.

Try using deep pastel eyeshades for the spring. Applied with the Deluxe Fluff/Mini. Base your eye with a shade closer to your skin tone. Using one or two shades, you can create a spring season look for you. Using one pastel eye shade, apply shadow with our Chisel Double Angle Shader, from eyelid to above crease. Highlight the brow with a lighter shade of pastel in the same color group. Try using the same shade or lighter shade to thinly line the bottom lids using our Deluxe Fluff/Mini.

Cheeks

Remember to keep the face simple when using pastels. Your focus is always on the eyes. You are only going to use a gentle touch of blush to lightly accent the cheeks.

Lips

Less focus on the cheeks and lips. Use a sheer lip creme or a light shade of gloss. You may use a Crystal Magic and eyeshadow or lip creme blend to create a lip-gloss shade perfect for you. The best brush for application is the Deluxe Sable Lip for lip cremes.

Using soft shades you can gently highlight your features for any season to come.

Foundation

Bronzing Shades

Add a highlighter or Bronzer to your original shade of Mineral Makeup Foundation. Apply sparingly around face using the Luscious Dome.

Eyes

Keeping it simple and soft, base your entire eye with a shadow closer to your skin tone. Use soft deep pinks to color the lids and a soft light pink to highlight the brows. Crease with a medium earth toned shade.

OR

Give your eyes a more vibrant, yet soft look, use the same base for your entire eye, and to give a natural pearled look; use a shimmer-based shadow on your lids and a light shade of shimmer or foundation highlighter to gently highlight the brows.

For a greater and more professional application, the recommended brushes for our eye makeup is the Deluxe Fluff/Mini for base and the Chisel Double Angle Shader for eyelid and brow lighting.

Cheeks
